Privacy Policy

Confetty collects only the information we need to quote, deliver and support your party rental. We do not sell your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to confetty.party, our booking pages, and messages with us by email, phone, text or WhatsApp.

1. Information we collect

Please do not send us sensitive information (such as health conditions, Social Security numbers or financial account numbers) through forms or messages.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

respond to inquiries, prepare quotes and confirm availability;
process bookings, payments, deposits, refunds and any damage or late charges under the Rental Agreement;
deliver, set up and pick up items, and send booking updates;
keep accounting and tax records and meet legal obligations;
prevent fraud and protect our equipment, customers and business;
improve our Site, catalog and service;
send marketing emails, only if you opted in.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed for the purposes above:

Service providers that work for us under contract, including Google (our booking records and business email), QuickBooks (invoicing, payments and accounting), our website host, our email provider and WhatsApp/Meta (messaging).
Partner rental companies and Partner Vendors that supply or deliver part of your order, limited to the details they need (such as name, event date, delivery address and phone).
Insurers, legal advisors and collection agencies when needed to handle a claim, damage, loss or unpaid balance.
Government authorities when required by law, such as tax authorities or a valid legal order.
A buyer or successor if Confetty's business is sold or reorganized, under this policy's protections.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Cookies and advertising

We use only cookies that are necessary for the Site to work. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar browser opt-out signals as a request to opt out of targeted advertising.

5. Texts and WhatsApp

If you opt in, we send booking confirmations, delivery updates and reminders by SMS or WhatsApp. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help, or tell us on WhatsApp. We do not share your mobile number or texting consent with third parties for their marketing.

6. Marketing emails

We send offers and party ideas only if you opt in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. We will still send messages about bookings you make.

7. How long we keep it

We keep booking, payment and tax records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. We keep quote requests that do not become bookings for up to 24 months. We keep condition photos until any damage or deposit question for that rental is resolved. We then delete or de-identify the information.

8. How we protect it

We use reputable service providers, limit access to the three Confetty partners and those who need it, use multi-factor authentication on business accounts, and never store full card numbers. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by New Jersey law.

9. Your privacy rights

Whether or not a law requires it of a business our size, Confetty honors these requests from any customer:

Know and access: confirm whether we have your personal information and get a copy.
Correct: fix inaccurate information.
Delete: delete your information, except records we must keep for tax, legal or open-claim reasons.
Opt out: of marketing, of targeted advertising, and of any sale of personal information (we do not sell it).

To make a request, email booking@confetty.party with the subject "Privacy Request" or call 732-880-2429. We may ask you to confirm details from your booking to verify your identity. We respond within 45 days and will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. If we decline a request, we will explain why and how to appeal by replying to our decision. New Jersey residents may also contact the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.

10. Children

The Site is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly direct targeted advertising to anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We will post any update here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already have, we will notify you by email or on the Site before it takes effect.
